Snelsons was founded in 1963 in Manchester. By 1974, we had moved to the site we currently occupy and the work to transform the area into a multi-purpose aluminium extrusion center began. As time has passed the Company has evolved from simple fabrication and 'job-lot' anodising facilities to an adaptable plant which allows us to truly say we are a one-stop-shop. Re-investing has been key for Snelsons success, allowing us offer a range of services. From our Managing Director down, our philosophy is simple, "Get it right, first time - every time!"

​Our facilities allow us to boast of some of some of the most integrated on-site facilities in the UK, which consist of fabrication, polishing, anodising, powder-coating, welding, sub-assembly, laser etching and multi-part packing. The bonus? It's all under one roof! A lot claim they are a 'one-stop-shop' but we actually are! As soon as the raw material hits our facilities, every aspect of manufacturing is conducted under one roof, meaning we can control quality, costs and lead times.

We're a company of subsistence. With over 60 years of Company history, you can be assured you are dealing with a company who knows Aluminium Extrusions - from die to finished product! Our MD and board have a combined 100 years of service in the industry between them - and that's before including our loyal workforce which allows us to possess an average 17 years service. Quality comes from dedicated employees. We recruit from the local community and train our employees to become multi-skilled so that no task is impossible.

What we offer is unique within the UK, our facilities are located on-site in Winsford, Cheshire, allowing us to offer unparalleled lead times and service, along with unparalleled quality known throughout the industry. With our Extrusion Partner, we are able to combine delivery of extrusion in both mill finish or finished product direct, stocked on site at Snelsons for call off vendor delivery, or even further fabrication and finishing in our UK Facilities. 

We truly are a one-stop-shop option, allowing us to service all of your needs. Starting with the supply of raw extrusion, in house we can fabricate, polish, anodise, paint and also assemble any required item to customer specifications, giving a completely finished item fit for purpose. ​
